The gathering in "real time" of the cyber romance readers and authors at the Westin Suites, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the fourth weekend of May, 1999.  

The May 1999 conference was the second in what is predicted to be an on-going series of conferences whose goal is to match on-line readers and writers of romance in a casual environment. The entire conference is run by volunteers with Margie Wilhelm as the Coordinator. 

CR!98 met in Las Vegas for the first time in April 1998. Forty-six readers and writers were in attendance and the Internet was abuzz immediately with the fun and camaraderie that occurred. Immediate plans were begun for a follow-up. 

This second conference had double the size of attendees and was held on the east coast. Celebrate Romance! 2000 is already shaping up to be larger while location nominations are to be taken in July 1999.
