This is one of those joyous seasons that adults and children look forward to. In the coming weeks we'll be inundated with sale pitches from retailers. One of my sure buys is a romance book. I know from page one, no matter what, I'll cheer for the heroine and fall in love with the hero. It's comforting in this unsure world to know that romance books are one constant for an enjoyable read.

As a writer of more than 40 books, I also know the challenges of ensuring that can't-put-down read. I don't take the responsibility likely. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to create my own world and people it with the good, the bad, the ugly. If you read ONE NIGHT WITH YOU, my current release and Book # 3 in the Grayson Friends Series, you know what I mean. Raven and Duncan from ONE NIGHT WITH YOU will have to work for their happy ending and rightly so. You can't tell how strong a love it until it's tested, thus the bad and the ugly.
