Kathy Brandt

Kathy Brandt taught writing at the University of Colorado
for ten years and has published articles in scores of
magazines, including Sailing, Yachting, and Women's Sports
and Fitness. A certified diver and experienced sailor, she
spends several months each year on the water. Born in
Illinois, she loves to travel, especially to warm places
such as the Caribbean, Ecuador, Tahiti, and the Sea of
Cortez. She and her husband, a marine biology professor,
live in the mountains outside Colorado Springs.
