Sandra is a graduate of the University of Toronto. She has
won ten coveted manuscript awards and book awards for The
Rose of York series in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma,
Connecticut and Arizona, including the 2005 GLYP AWARD and
th First Place Przie in the Francis Ford Coppola-sponsored
2003 NEW CENTURY WRITERS AWARDS for best emerging writers.
In 2007, the Spanish rights to her debut novel, THE ROSE
OF YORK: LOVE & WAR were sold, and Sandra was acquired by
Penguin in a two-book deal. Her new novel, LADY OF THE
ROSES, also set during the turbulent and dark period of
the Wars of the Roses is coming in 2008, and will be
followed by a novel on Elizabeth of York, mother of henry
