Maureen McKade began her professional writing career when
she sold her first manuscript to Avon Books in October 1995.
That book, WINTER HEARTS, was twice a national
awards
finalist, first in The Golden Heart, then as a finalist in
the RWA's RITA awards in the Best First Book category.
Maureen's most recent Avon release, HIS UNEXPECTED
WIFE, has
also been chosen by Rhapsody Book Club to be a featured
alternate selection. Her first time travel romance, AT
MIDNIGHT, one of the Hope Chest series, was released in
October by Zebra under the pseudonym Maura McKenzie.
An Air Force wife for over seventeen years, Maureen has
found a career in writing to be well suited to the somewhat
nomadic life of the military. Currently she and her husband
live at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota with their dog
and cat.
