Upstate New York is, literally, freezing this time of year, and I’m expecting to cozy up with some good books all winter. elizajane202 - well i realized today i forgot the stocking stuffers
MaryJoPutney - Sorry, Mikey, no time travels in my collection
AnnK99 - hi Robin
SueK - New Mexico would be perfect if it would just snow here in ABQ!

JacquelineElliott - Linda!!
__sonya__ - I just ordered Christmas Revels yesterday!

zosia - I can hardly wait to read forest lord it's on my x-mas list<g>
SueK - Sandra, I just wrote a werewolf novella set in the Atchafalaya Basin with a secondary character named Landry.
KarenFox - I have a new contemporary fantasy romance coming out in January--CUPID'S MELODY. It's another story of the Fae.
Laurin Wittig - SLandry - I went to grad school in New Orleans and met my dh there. It's my favorite city!
Sara-Moderator - no crashing allowed, Karen. Bribe the machine!
SueK - Thanks, Zosia!

Sara-Moderator - and a great series of books about the fae!
Cissy-moderator - Hi to everyone coming in! Happy Holidays!
SLandry - Yes, Ann and Sara. Another TT. I really like to write and read them.
mikeynmimi - It's really Pat, Mary Jo, I'm going to get it anyhow, because I love your books
RobinDOwens2 -
Sara-Moderator - hi, Gail, welcome!!
DebSimmons - Hi, all!
KarenFox - Yes, ma'am, Sara. I'll make sure to tell it that.
RobinDOwens2 - Hey, Gail, great cover!
CrazyMo - Hiya LindaB!
MaryJoPutney - Thanks, Sonya! I hope you enjoy, the stories, and that you do also, Pat. //smile
KarenFox - Waving back at you, Lynn. Good snow up there?
__sonya__ - When do the prizes start? I hope I FINALLY win something tonight!
LindaBleser - Hi Jacki, Ann, Deb, Mo...lots of familiar faces. This is my first time here so I'm just getting used to the format.
CrazyMo - Hiya Ann!
Deb_Stover - Me, too, Sandra.
AnnK99 - Have some drinks, all ~~~~~~>> ...etc
Gail Crease - Thanks, Robin. Definitely a sea feel!
Sara-Moderator - bribery works on mine when the threats don't
JacquelineElliott - It's my first time too, Linda.
Deb_Stover - Hi, Linda.
Gail Crease - Oh, I'll take what looks like a cup of tea.
__sonya__ - I'm sure I will Mary Jo, I'm a huge fan!
elizajane202 - here
RobinDOwens2 - What do you bribe a puter with?
Sabrina Moses - What, Robin? Retail hell or being offline--lately I've been a bit crazy
Cissy-moderator - we have lots of good prizes to give, sonya - we'll start the giveaways shortly
MaryJoPutney - Oooh, thanks for the hot coffee, Ann! I needed that.
O - //coffe
SueK - Karen ... you know what's funny? I got a review from the SF Romance newsletter that seemed to largely criticize THE FOREST LORD for NOT being humorous!
CrazyMo - keep the authors coming...soon I will have reviewed you all LOL
Sara-Moderator - to the authors joining us, we are doing introductions. Tell us about yourself and your books!
KarenFox - Thanks for the drinks, Ann. I can use it.
AnnK99 - here you go, Gail
elizajane202 - Threaten you'll throw it out your window
Cissy-moderator - here Gail
RobinDOwens2 - Retail hell.
AnnK99 - YW Karen..
SLandry - Hi SueK. Landry is a pretty common name around here. And Laurin, I don't doubt you found love in New Orleans. My hubby is from here too. Those cajuns are great.
Deb_Stover - No sense of adventure? How about a margarita?
KarenFox - Oh, that's not fair, SueK. Your Fae are uniquely yours and I love them.
MaryJoPutney - for Sonya
elizajane202 - or that you'll crash a sledgehammer into it
SueK - The reviewer didn't seem to think that any sort of Fae, Fane or what have you should be in any kind of story except light and funny--but if mine were like that, it would be like yours!
Gail Crease - Wow, you guys are good. This is only my second time on chat, and I'll still tryin to get the hang of it
__sonya__ - ooh good!
RobinDOwens2 -
jennifermalin - Hi, I'm Jen Malin from Philadelphia. My most recent Berkley/Jove book is ETERNALLY YOURS, a contemporary ghost story that was part of the Love Letters line. Currently I also have a new Regency romance out with another publisher.
Cissy-moderator - nice use of icon, MJ!
DebSimmons - I love the lights! Very nice.
Laurin Wittig - Yeah, but I found a northern boy tucked away in the French Quarter. <g>
elizajane202 - I like that
AnnK99 - LOL Deb.. ...call it a Margarita
__sonya__ - thanks Mary Jo!
SueK - Sandra, I know Landry is a common name ... one of the reasons I chose it. Other names I use are Daigle and Arceneaux.
Sabrina Moses - Ack! I can't wait till the season's past
KarenFox - Exactly, Sue. That's why we can both write those stories and have fun doing it. I actually love dark myself.
RobinDOwens2 - Hmmmm. Sue, I thought it was a GOOD review, guess I'll go and look at it again.
Deb_Stover - Hi, Caffey.
CrazyMo - <~~~~~loves Fae/Fane stories...so to hell with those that dont LOL
Caffey - Hi all!
AnnK99 - hi Caffey
Caffey - Hi Deb
RobinDOwens2 - Hi, Caffey.
RebeccaYork - DH and I went to the mall today. Because of the snow it was almost empty, so we had salespeople falling all over themselves to help us.
Mary f - Hello Caffey
Gail Crease - Mary Jo, I'm just reading Wild Child. Fantastic!
SueK - Robin ... you're kidding. You thought it was a good review? It's one of the worst I've gotten. Maybve we're thinking of different reviews...
DebSimmons - I'm the author of about 22 historical romances, with my first one for Berkley coming out in June 2003.
Caffey - Hi Mary
AnnK99 -
RobinDOwens2 - Probably, Sue.
AnaSeymour - Hi everyone—happy holidays! I hope you’re all staying warm! I’m from Minnesota and we usually have the worst of winter, but I guess many of you East and South are suffering at the moment. Some of you might want to pick up a copy of my December release MAID OF KILLARNEY to warm up a winter night!
KarenFox - How much snow do you have, Ruth? I'd love some myself.
MaryJoPutney - Gail, I'm so glad you enjoyed The Wild Child. That story had some magic I can't take credit for.
Caffey - great to "see" you again deb
CrazyMo - ok testing....is my type coming thru?
Deb_Stover - Karen says that every year.
Sara-Moderator - that's the best time to shop, during the snow (says the girl in Dallas with no snow, ever)
elizajane202 -
AnnK99 - I see you, Mo
Deb_Stover - sending Karen some snow.
Caffey - Hi Kathy (shay)!!
Laurin Wittig - Mo loud and clear
Gail Crease - Ana, we're having it pretty balmy up here on Vancouver Island, but having lived in Toronto for most of my life, I don't miss the snow!
AnnK99 - hi Emma
Caffey - Hi emma
KarenFox - Well, I never get enough snow. When it does come down, it melts too quickly. ;-(
RebeccaYork - KarenFox: I'd say we got 6 inches--and it seems to have stopped.
Sara-Moderator - did we get everyon'e introduction?
RobinDOwens2 - Hi, Emma! Did you come in when I crashed?
AnnK99 - Vancouver Island is nice
O - Hi Ana I just finsihded "The black Swain" it was good
__sonya__ - Hi Emma!
KarenFox - Gee, thanks, Deb. You're a pal.
emmaholly - Hi all! Emma Holly, author of steamy, steamy historicals popping in to chat!
Caffey - not in WNY, very cold and leftover snow from Monday
Mary f - Hello Emma
RebeccaYork - But it will probably ice up tonight.
SueK - I lived in Toronto for three years and don't miss the LONG winters, eithe4r, but the way snow falls in Albuquerque it would be just about perfect if it snowed a little more often. It seldom sticks!
mikeynmimi - Where are you from , Karen?
CrazyMo - ok thanks all...one of my posts didnt come thru...said I love Fae/Fane stories so to hell with those that dont LOL
MizMansfield2 - I'm a "stand in" for Elizabeth Mansfield, lol.
kathrynshay - Hi, Caffey. I thought I recognized your name! Happy Holidays.
emmaholly - Just got here, Robin
Sara-Moderator - Emma Holly?
papotter - Karen...I'm with you. We never get snow.
AnaSeymour - Is anyone in the middle of all that snow?
KarenFox - Wow, sounds great, Ruth. I'm jealous.
Caffey - Same to you
MizMansfield2 - In real life, I'm her daughter. I breathe computers, so she asked me to help her out
__sonya__ - Don't worry Gail, there's no snow here either in Toronto
zosia - I'm in barrie just north of toronto and we have plenty of the white stuff.
Gail Crease - Yes, as long as you don't mind rain, this is a wondeful place to be
Cait - I'm in Missouri, and we have snow and ice, unusual for us until Jan/Feb.
AnnK99 - we haven't had snow yet..THIS year
KarenFox - Mikey--I live just south of Colorado Springs.
Sara-Moderator - ah, are you helping her? standin
Caffey - none is coming here this weekend (i hope) we had enough last weekend
Deb_Stover - Gail, I love the weather in the NW. I'm in Portland.
RobinDOwens2 - No snow in Colorado today, either.

Sara-Moderator - what a nice daughter!
CrazyMo - I got 8 inches of the white stuff here today...anyone want some? LOL
NancyButler - Greetings ladies
Caffey - I didn't see you there, Hi Cait!
MaryJoPutney - Karen, Sara, here's some snow for you!
jennifermalin - We're pretty snowy here in Philly today -- I guess about 6" or so.
MizMansfield2 - snowing here in greater NY area... we've got about 9 inches out back
Gail Crease - Hi, Deb. Yes, I sure don't miss the freezing rain
RobinDOwens2 - LOL Mary Jo!

Mary f - Hello Hope!
RobinDOwens2 - Hi, Hope!
__sonya__ - Emma, I love the Beyond series, Beyond Innocence is my favourite!
AnnK99 -
SLandry - Well. It never snows in New Orleans--or at least almost ever--and I'm just fine with that. Being born in Brazil doesn't help to get aclimated with cold weather.
Cait - Pat, every time I've been in Memphis, there has been lots of water/flooding
Deb_Stover - Hi, Hope.
KarenFox - Yep, Mo, send some my way.
AnnK99 - they are FUN, Ana
RobinDOwens2 -
Gail Crease - Hi, Hope.
Barbara Bretton - Hi, everyone, from freezing snowy NJ

AnnK99 - hi Barbara B
MizMansfield2 - I have to go afk for a few minutes and tuck in the little one. BRB
Deb_Stover - Hi, Barbara!
KarenFox - Now, we may have to negotiate about that, Mo.
AnnK99 -
MaryJoPutney - Hi, Hope! Given that you got hit by the storm, I'm glad you have that big furry cat to keep you warm!
Sara-Moderator - I'm Elizabeth Mansfield, from Virginia, where we're having our first snowfall in years! Love it! I often put snow scenes in my books to make up for the lack of them in my life. My new book, GIRL WITH THE PERSIAN SHAWL, is just coming out. ROMANTIC TIMES calls it a Top Pick. After you read it, I'd love to hear from you.
Gail Crease - Hi, Barbara. Is it still snowing in NJ?
elizajane202 - can we just ask anything then?
jennifermalin - Hi, Barbara. Thanks for organizing us for tonight.
AnnK99 - //Christmastree

Caffey - Is that Elizabeth on the phone with you Sara?
__sonya__ - Did u get bumped, Emma? I hate when that happens
darlas - That'll do it, Ana!
Hope_Tarr - In TEMPTING, my heroine sprains her ankle and the hero has to carry her home... in the snow
Sara-Moderator - I'm going to talk about the and give the author a minute to take the floor. Everyone ready?
Sabrina Moses - Bye ya'll and I'll see ya soon
CrazyMo - no negotiating Karen....I want Robin LOL
RobinDOwens2 - take care, Sabrina, best of luck!
Caffey - Hi Hope!
RobinDOwens2 - What?
elizajane202 - how long does it take everyone to come up with a book? before editing of course.
Caffey - bye Sabrina
jennifermalin - ready.
RobinDOwens2 - I missed that?
elizajane202 - oops sorry
Hope_Tarr - Bye Sabrina
JacquelineElliott - Yep Robin, my puppy won't potty in the snow, so he goes on the sidewalk and the cat buries it with snow for him.
Barbara Bretton - I'm afraid to look outside, Gail -- it was still coming down an hour ago -- light but persistent

__sonya__ - Emma, I love the Beyond series, Beyond Innocence is my favourite!
elizajane202 - both actually
Caffey - if you need me to leave to make room, just let me know sara
jennifermalin - i hope to get quicker with practice!
