| Food for Thought — and My Domestic Affairs Contest
When Eileen Goudge was 18 years old, she quit school to get married, and all too soon became a divorced mother surviving on welfare and feeding her child on food stamps. That's when she began writing fiction, to make a better life for herself and her son. She had always enjoyed cooking, but during that time, she developed a deep appreciation for food.
